Volunteer This Weekend In Manchester

Two events are happening this weekend in Manchester that are looking for volunteers:

On Saturday, August 20, the first ever Boots on the Ground event will take place, starting at 8 am, to help clean up abandoned encampments throughout the city. Organized by the H.O.P.E. initiative and partially sponsored by ServPro, a celebration will follow on August 21. More information can be found here and volunteers can sign up here.

On Sunday, August 21, the 35th Annual NH Senior Games will have their Track and Field event will be at Memorial H.S. Their mission is "to promote healthy sports competition and social interactions for active, older adults in New Hampshire and across the Northeast." Volunteers are needed to specifically help with tasks such as setting up, raking the long jump sand, and measuring and retrieving shot puts. Review the full list of opportunities and sign up here.
