Stand Off Ends Peacefully

On January 17, 2023 at approximately 9:20 AM, Manchester Police acting on a tip responded to 478 Beech St Apt 3. Manchester had reason to believe that a man wanted in Nashua was residing at the address.

The individual identified as 36-year-old Justin Martin of Manchester had barricaded himself inside the apartment and was refusing to come outside. As a precaution, a perimeter was set up and a negotiator tried to call Martin on the telephone. The negotiator was able to make contact with him and after a short period of time, Martin agreed to come outside and he was taken into custody without further incident.

Along with the Nashua warrant, police determined that Martin had 3 other active warrants. Along with those charges, Martin was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest. Martin will be arraigned in Manchester Circuit Court this morning (1/18/23).
