Search Warrant Results in Two Arrests and a Ghost Gun

On August 2, 2023, at approximately 6:00 AM, the Manchester Police SWAT team executed a search warrant at 9 Dearborn Street #2.

This resulted from a drug investigation conducted by the Special Enforcement Division. Two men that were targets of the investigation were inside at the time, Monytung Maker, 26, and Oumaru Kante, 26, both of Manchester.

Maker was arrested on two counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug (cocaine) with the Intent to Distribute. Kante was arrested on one count of Possession of a Controlled Drug (cocaine) with the Intent to Distribute (Conspiracy).

During the search, investigators located an un-serialized firearm clone of a Glock 43, commonly called a ghost gun. Due to this discovery, Maker was additionally charged with Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
