Road Races And Parade Brings Road Closures, And Detours

Beginning Friday afternoon there will be road closures and detours in downtown Manchester.

Friday Millenium Running will begin setting up for the road race, closing Elm Street between Merrimack St and Pleasent St.

The following information distributed by the City of Manchester gives you the time, and locations affected throughout the weekend. It also includes MTA bus information

On Friday, March 25th, 2022 the Manchester Transit Authority will redirect their service starting at 2:15 pm for the bus stops located on Elm St at Veteran’s Park and Stanton Plaza.

The temporary bus stop will be relocated to in front of the Hillsborough North Superior Court House located at 300 Chestnut St. This change will remain in effect for bus service all day Saturday, March 26th, 2022. Normal service will resume on Monday, March 28th, 2022. Shamrock Half Marathon –March 25th through March 26th

• Friday, March 25th, 2022 Elm St will be closed at approximately 2:15 pm between Merrimack St and Pleasant St. This closure will remain until the conclusion of the Shamrock Shuffle/ St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 27th at approximately 2:00 pm.
