May Fugitive of the Week Arrested

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces the arrest of former Fugitive of the Week, Tyson Kane Hazelton. Hazelton, 44, was wanted on a parole violation, stemming from an underlying charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

Hazelton was featured as the Department’s Fugitive of the Week on May 4, 2023. On June 30, 2023, a Windham County, Vermont Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Hazelton for violating the conditions of his release in a pending case in Vermont and his parole warrant out of New Hampshire.

The Fugitive of the Week program was launched by the Department of Corrections in March of this year to encourage public assistance in locating individuals who have absconded from supervision. Each Wednesday, the Department shares information on a specific fugitive through various communications platforms, and with law enforcement through the New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center.
