Manchester Police Investigating Suspicious Death

MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester Police and the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office are investigating what they refer to as a suspicious death in Manchester.

Police and AMR ambulance were dispatched to 297 Hanover Street at 2:06 a.m. After the ambulance arrived at the scene they said that the person was deceased.

Manchester Police Officers secured the entrances of a multi-unit apartment building located directly across from the New Hampshire Employment Security Office.

Detectives were at the scene beginning to interview people in the area. One woman who arrived at about 7:00 a.m. became very emotional immediately after police spoke to her outside of the building.

A person from the New Hampshire Office of the Medical Examiners Office arrived at the scene at 7:15 a.m. and could be seen speaking to police outside of the building.

At this time this is an active investigation, and there is no information on the deceased person.
