Manchester Man Indicted In Fatal Pedestrian Accident On Elm Street

MANCHESTER, NH - A Manchester man has been indicted in connection to a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in May 2021.
A 69-year-old man was crossing Elm Street in a crosswalk in front of City Hall when, according to the indictment, Eric Earle while operating a bicycle struck the pedestrian.
Earle who lists an address of the Families In Transition shelter at 199 Manchester was indicted for Negligent Homicide. The indictment states Earle drove a bicycle into “C.A” who died from injuries in the May 13, 2021 accident.
Manchester Fire engine 5 was flagged down on Elm Street near City Hall for a man that was in cardiac arrest. Firefighters immediately began CPR and an AMR ambulance responded. It was quickly determined that the 69-year-old man had been struck by some sort of vehicle. The man was transported to the Elliot Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Earle has faced several indictments for felony charges in previous Grand Jury sessions.
