Manchester Man Charged with Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images
A city man has turned himself in to Manchester Police concerning child sexual abuse images.
Earlier this year, Manchester Police received a cyber-tip alleging that Wayne Stevens, 68, had child sexual assault images on devices he owned.
An investigation was initiated, and a search warrant was executed at Stevens’ home as part of that investigation. During the search, police seized six electronic devices and ultimately found multiple sexually explicit images of children.
A warrant was issued for Stevens's arrest, and on August 8, 2023, he turned himself in. Stevens is charged with ten counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images, and his bail was set at $10,000 cash.
