Man Placed on Escape Status from Transitional Housing

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that minimum-security resident Darien Young of the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester has been placed on ESCAPE status as of 2:00 AM on Friday, July 21, 2023, after he walked off the grounds and failed to return.

Young is described as a 29-year-old White male, 6 feet tall, and weighing 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a military green backpack, greyish-blue hoodie, black hat, sunglasses, blue jeans, dark boots.

Young is incarcerated for receiving stolen property (2 counts), controlled drug acts prohibited, burglary, and falsifying physical evidence, with a minimum parole eligibility date of July 31, 2023, and a current maximum release date of January 31, 2028.
