Man Out On Bail Arrested After Rummaging Through Car

On October 21, 2022 at approximately 10:15 AM, Manchester Police arrested a 24- year- old Manchester man after a District Court Security Officer spotted him rummaging through a vehicle.

Officers learned that the suspect, identified as Christopher Webber, ran from the security officer and was followed for a short time before Manchester Police located him at Bridge and Berkeley Streets.

Since authorized personnel are the only people allowed to be in the area where the vehicle was parked, Webber was charged with Criminal Trespass.

Police also determined that Webber was out on $1500 PR bail from Superior Court for a recent arrest on October 18th. In that incident, Webber was found to be driving a stolen car and was charged with Receiving Stolen Property.

He also had active bail conditions from the previous month for charges of Theft by Unauthorized Taking and Criminal Trespass.
