Man on Parole Arrested for Sexual Assault

On November 29, 2023, the Manchester Police Anti-Crime Unit, along with the Littleton, NH Police Department and the NH State Probation and Parole Office, arrested Jimmie Lee Carlton, 57 of Littleton.

The arrest stemmed from a lengthy investigation dating back to 2021, where a woman was sexually assaulted at gunpoint in Manchester.

Through the course of the investigation, police identified Carlton and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On Wednesday, Carlton was arrested in Littleton and charged with Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault and Criminal Threatening with a Firearm.

Police believe Carlton has been involved in similar crimes in the past, and anyone with information about these crimes, or potential victims or witnesses, is asked to call Detective Brendan Langton at 603-792-5511 or Detective Kevin Lally at 603-670-6993 at the Manchester Police Department.

Carlton is currently being held on a parole violation from a past robbery conviction.
