Man Arrested For Forgery Relating To Manchester Car Dealership
Austen Cooper, 26, of Raymond was arrested on Forgery charges in connection with a purchase he tried to make at a Manchester car dealership.
Last month, Cooper visited the dealership and said he wanted to buy a truck worth more than $60,000. Through the investigation, police learned that Cooper lied about his occupation and salary on his credit application. Cooper also provided the dealership with two forged paystubs and an altered bank statement from an already closed account.
Cooper was arrested and charged with felony Forgery (4 counts) and Theft by Deception (Attempted).
