MANCHESTER, NH - A Manchester man was arrested Monday after police say he robbed a woman he knew and was driving her around in a stolen vehicle.

When police located James Albert, 38 in a vehicle near the Irving station on Brown Avenue he attempted to flee and got stuck in a snowbank. Albert then fled on foot and a K9 was deployed who located the suspect hiding in the woods according to police. The woman was located in the vehicle where she remained while police chased the suspect and she was not injured.

MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel said in a press release that Albert faces numerous charges including robbery, receiving stolen property, disobeying a police office, reckless conduct, conduct after an accident, stalking, resisting arrest, and breach of bail. Albert also had outstanding warrants.
