Indictment Roundup: July 2023

July’s Hillsborough County Superior Court – North Indictments include indictments for the June shooting at a party, the June assault outside Manchester Fire headquarters, the violent robbery on Calef Road in May, the 2021 incident outside Tru Hotel where someone was struck with a vehicle, the March incident where a man shot in the direction of a woman and near her child, a February incident where police surrounded a house on Merrimack Street, and the murder of a 7-year-old in January.


291 indictments were handed down for 125 individuals, with 27% for drug-related charges and 29% for assault charges. This is the highest percentage of assault charges in 2023, with the second-most being 20% in both February and March.


Out of the drug charges, over 85% were for Heroin/Fentanyl, Crack/Crack Cocaine, or Methamphetamine

Violent Crimes:

  • Kekoa Bissonnette of Southbridge, MA

    • Indictments: First Degree Assault (4), Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Assault, Reckless Conduct

    • Allegedly aided Emmanuel Sayle in shooting 4 people in association with a criminal street gang, along with Griffin O’Neil and Trenton Liggins

    • This is related to the June shooting incident where 4 people were injured when a gunman opened fire at a party. Bissonnette was one of 4 people arrested.

  • Kalee Chaput of Manchester

  • Desmel Cooper of Manchester

  • Adrian Hardisty of Manchester

    • Indictments: First Degree Assault, Robbery, Attempted First Degree Assault, Theft by Unauthorized Taking, FPDW (2), Criminal Threatening, Burglary (2), Criminal Mischief

    • Allegedly committed one or all of the following: used physical force to steal items from someone, causing injury, with David Hoffens; threatened to murder someone and her child by shooting them; smashed someone’s car; attempted to injure someone with a box cutter.

    • This is in part related to the violent robbery on Calef Road in May.

  • David Hoffens of Manchester

    • Indictment: Robbery

    • Allegedly punched someone to commit theft against them, with Adrian Hardisty.

    • This is related to the violent robbery on Calef Road in May.

  • Jonathan Hurtado of Chelsea, MA

    • Indictment: Second-Degree Assault

    • Allegedly injured someone’s foot when he struck them with a vehicle

    • This is related to the 2021 incident outside Tru Hotel; Hurtado was arrested this past March.

  • Codarrel Kirk of Peabody, MA

  • Trenton Liggins of Manchester

    • Indictments: First Degree Assault, Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Assault

    • Allegedly aided Emmanuel Sayle and/or Kekoa Bissonnette in shooting 4 people in association with a criminal street gang, along with Griffin O’Neil.

    • This is related to the June shooting incident where 4 people were injured when a gunman opened fire at a party. Liggins was one of 4 people arrested.

  • Griffin O’Neil of Manchester

    • Indictments: First Degree Assault, Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Assault, Felon in Possession of Dangerous Weapon (2)

    • Allegedly aided Emmanuel Sayle and/or Kekoa Bissonnette in shooting 4 people in association with a criminal street gang, along with Trenton Liggins.

    • This is related to the June shooting incident where 4 people were injured when a gunman opened fire at a party. O’Neil was one of the first 2 people arrested.

  • Emmanuel Sayle of Manchester

    • Indictment: First Degree Assault (4), Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Assault, Reckless Conduct, Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Assaults by Prisoners (13)

    • Allegedly aided Emmanuel Sayle in shooting 4 people in association with a criminal street gang, along with Griffin O’Neil and Trenton Liggins. Additionally, allegedly pushed and struck another prisoner multiple times.

    • This is related to the June shooting incident where 4 people were injured when a gunman opened fire at a party. Sayle was one of the first 2 people arrested.

  • Demetrio Chalston of Manchester

    • Indictments: Second Degree Assault, Criminal Threatening, Convicted Felons Felony, Witness Tampering

    • Allegedly engaged in strangulation of someone and placed a kitchen knife next to the door saying, “It’s a good thing you left when you did, I would’ve butchered you.”

  • Wellington De La Cruz Montero of Manchester

    • Indictments: AFSA (7)

    • Allegedly sexually assaulted someone by unexpectedly putting himself inside the victim, including after she said “stop” multiple times.

  • Sevon Edwards-Gold of Manchester

    • Indictments: Second Degree Assault, Reckless Conduct

    • Allegedly through a billiard ball at someone’s face

  • Paul Green of New York, NY

    • Indictments: Assault by Prisoner (3)

    • Allegedly spit on two corrections officers and attempted to strike one of them

  • David Iannuzzo of Manchester

    • Indictments: Simple Assault, CDAAP, Falsifying Physical Evidence

    • Allegedly sprayed the contents of a syringe on Officer Hascall

  • Dustin Krook of Sharon

    • Indictments: Second Degree Assault (3), Resisting Arrest or Detention

    • Allegedly resisted when Officer Bell attempted to detain him, fracturing the officer’s finger and causing a torn rotator cuff, bicep tendon, and Labrum, and injuring the officer’s spine with three bulging discs

  • Timothy Leblanc of Manchester

    • Indictments: AFSA (6)

    • Allegedly climbed on top of someone while they were sleeping and sexually assaulted them, including after they woke up and said “no.”

  • Paul Mangiafico of Manchester

    • Indictments: Assaults by Prisoners (3)

    • Allegedly expelled feces on the floor of his jail cell and spread it on other surfaces of the cell.

  • Chad Nagy of Manchester

    • Indictments: Assaults by Prisoners (3)

    • Allegedly struck multiple prisoners with a fist.

  • Timothy Pinet of Manchester

    • Indictments: Assault by Prisoner (6)

    • Allegedly expelled feces on a jail cell floor and spread it on other surfaces, stuffed pants into a toilet to flood the jail cell, and yelled “F*ck you m*therf*ckers, I will kill all of you,” at a Corrections Officer.

  • Jaysson Santana of Manchester

    • Indictment: Second-Degree Assault

    • Allegedly struck another person in the head and body with his fist and knee while the person was in a barber chair and on the ground.

  • Dale Stewart of Webster

    • Indictments: Second Degree Assault, Throwing or Placing of Explosives Penalty (2) Possession of Infernal Machine Penalty (2), Reckless Conduct (2), CDAAP

    • Allegedly had explosives with the intent of damaging property, placing two of them in locations where one detonated and caused injury.

  • Karin Strandnes of Weare

    • Indictments: First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault

    • Allegedly struck someone with her car

  • Robert Sleeper of Manchester

    • Indictments: Assaults by Prisoners (4)

    • Allegedly punched another prisoner in the head 3 times and then stomped on their head.

    • Sleeper is held on numerous charges, including Felonious Sexual Assault, Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images, and Manufacturing Child Sexual Abuse Images.


Crimes Against Minors:

  • Curtis Massey of Manchester

    • Indictments: Manufacture of Child Sexual Abuse Images, Tampering With Witnesses and Informants, Falsifying Physical Evidence

    • Allegedly created a video of his juvenile girlfriend engaging in sexual intercourse and then told her to “deny to the fullest” the charges against him and delete the contents of her phone.

    • This is related to a February incident where police surrounded a house on Merrimack Street. Massey was later charged with being an Armed Career Criminal.

  • Murtadah Mohammad of Manchester

    • Indictments: Second Degree Murder, First Degree Assault (2), Second Degree Assault (2), Falsifying Physical Evidence (3)

    • Allegedly caused the death of a child under 13 by subjecting him to abusive violence, including scalding him with hot liquid, burning him with a hot pan, whipping him with a cord and striking him in the face, and then claiming it was due to a spill accident.

    • Mohammad was initially arrested for assault against his child in January and then murder in July; the charges seek extended terms of imprisonment based upon Jaevion’s age and/or the infliction of exceptional cruelty or depravity upon him.

  • Sandra Cobbett of Manchester

    • Indictments: Second Degree Assault (2), DV Simple Assault (3)

    • Allegedly hit a child under 13 with a mop in the head and the back, multiple times, causing a hematoma and cut on their head and a concussion

  • Vinliam Sengvanhpheng of Manchester

    • Indictments: Second Degree Assault (2)

    • Allegedly grabbed a child under 13 by the arm and struck him, causing bruising on the arm and buttocks.


Theft and Fraud:

  • Steven Burleigh of Manchester

    • Indictments: Theft by Unauthorized Taking, Burglary

    • Allegedly broke into Dunkin Donuts and stole $1,500 or more

  • Nicholas Godbout of Salisbury

    • Indictments: Theft by Unauthorized Taking (4), Receiving Stolen Property, Theft by Deception

    • Allegedly stole multiple electronic items from another and brought the items to Guitar Center

  • Nicholas Melanson of Manchester

    • Indictments: Issuing Bad Checks, Theft by Deception

    • Allegedly issued a check for $10,000.43 to Triangle Credit Union knowing it wouldn’t be paid by Chase Bank, and then withdrew $4,331.93 from Triangle Credit Union.

Driving Incidents:

  • Fabio Baez of Manchester

    • Indictments: Reckless Conduct, Receiving Stolen Property

    • Allegedly stole a 2007 Ford Fusion and wove in and out of traffic on Bridge Street and drove the wrong way on Pine St.

Misc:

  • Anthony Monbleau of Nashua

    • Indictments: Delivery of Articles Prohibited, CDAAP

    • Allegedly knowingly secreted inside or on his body fentanyl while a prisoner in the Hillsborough County House of Correction

    • Monbleau has a criminal history dating back to 2009, including 5 open cases from this year.

  • Harry Moy of Manchester

    • Indictments: Delivery of Prohibited Articles, Reckless Conduct, Possession of Controlled Drug, Possession of Controlled Drug with Intent, Reckless Conduct

    • Allegedly had fentanyl with the intent to deliver it to a prisoner by the initials of JM in the Hillsborough County House of Correction

    • Moy was also arrested after a June incident where Manchester Fire personnel at fire headquarters witnessed an assault on Pine Street just outside their office
