Halloween Weekend In Manchester

Friday, October 28 - Family Activities:

3:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Manchester Fall Festival (Downtown)

• Trick-or-Treat downtown at local businesses

• Photo Booth, Kids Games and Activities, Pumpkin Carving, Coloring Contest, Decoration Station for a Lighted Display, and so much more!

5:00 pm - 6:30 pm: Annual Kids Halloween Party (Bookery)

• 5:00 pm Crafts & Snacks

• 5:30 pm Halloween Storytime with guest reader/illustrator Julieann Hartley of Halloween Parade

  • Julieann Hartley, MT-BC, NMT, NTP, Board Certified Music Therapist who creates music designed with all children ​in mind and most recently illustrated a book!

• 5:45 pm Kids Concert and interactive Sing-A-Long

• 6:15 pm Costume Parade, Book Signing, & Prizes!

Friday, October 28 - Afternoon/Evening Events:

3:00 pm - Close: Halloween & Trick or Treat Fun (Shoppers Pub & Eatery)

• Costume contest, drink specials & music

5:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Nightmare on Elm Street & Zombie Parade (Starts at Diz’s)

• Start the crawl at Diz’s with great food, gooey eyeball drinks, prizes and fun.

• Then continue on for Halloween activities while parading up and down Elm Street visiting all of our favorite Downtown businesses!

5:30 pm - 7:30 pm: Halloween Chocolate Bar Making Class (Van Otis - 341 Elm St.)

• Witches & goblins alike are invited to Van Otis for an evening filled with ghoulish fun, laughter, and most importantly... CHOCOLATE!

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm: Nightmare on Elm Wood Workshop (AR Workshop)

• DIY class to make one of our many Wood Projects! Choose from Signs, Trays, Boxes, Frames & More!

• In the workshop, you will have the opportunity to customize your project with your choice of designer paints and stain colors. Find out at the workshop about our DIY Rewards program!

• All guests signed up for this workshop will receive a complimentary 4x8 Halloween Mini Sign to complete in addition to your project while at the workshop.

• Costumes welcomed but not required!

9:00 pm - 12:30 am: 2nd Annual Halloween Spooktacular (XO Bistro)

• Hosted by Eleganza Dance Company

• Prize for the best costume

• Join DJ Jersey and dance the night away to the best hits of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Rumba, Cha Cha, and Hustle.

Various times: Escape the Dead Cabin (Granite State Escape Room)

• The story: You took a risk hiking in these parts. Several missing persons have been reported. No remains, no tracks, no clues. But, you can’t help it. The woods have been calling for months, consuming your dreams and thoughts. Instinct takes you down a series of overgrown paths to an abandoned cabin deep in the brush. You feel a strange desire you can’t understand. A belonging you’ve always wanted. This strange cabin... THIS will be your new home.

11:00 am - 5:00 pm: Guest Artists at Lilac & Finch Pop-Up (32 Hanover St)

11:00 am - 5:00 pm: Spiritual Fair (Spotlight at the Palace Theater)

• Readers, healers, artists and metaphysical goods

3:00 pm: Witch Dance (Hop Knot - 1000 Elm St)

• Dress up as Witches and dance around a cauldron outside on our patio as part of Shadow and Soul's big day. Later that night we're having our annual Halloween Party with a costume contest and a karaoke contest with prizes from To Share Brewing Company.

Saturday, October 29 - Evening:

Annual Halloween Party (Hop Knot - 1000 Elm St)

• Costume contest and a karaoke contest with prizes from To Share Brewing Company.

6:00 pm - 11:00 pm: Halloween Spooktacular (SoHo Bistro & Lounge)

• Two indoor and two outdoor bars and a large dance floor.

• Costume contest, beer pong, pool table, bowling machine, food, and drinks.

6:30 pm - 10:00 pm: Hocus Pocus on Hanover Costume Party (Spotlight at the Palace Theater)

• Join this good old-fashioned Halloween costume party with “CJ th DJ” hosting the music and karaoke.
