Fire Station 9 Closing To Be Rebuilt
The current Station 9 at 525 Calef Rd is over 60 years old and has served its community well. However, with the growing population and needs of the citizens and City of Manchester, it is time to replace this station with an up-to-date and modern station suitable to grow with the changing times.
As of 5:00 pm on October 7, 2022, the existing Station 9 will be closed. Engine 9 personnel will be housed at Station 7 at 679 Somerville St and will be posting in their normal response area as much as possible. There will be no reduction of services or personnel during this time of construction.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Chief Ryan Cashin at 603- 669-2256. Thank you.
