Everett Turnpike Saturation Patrol Leads to 10 Arrests
Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B barracks worked in conjunction with the Nashua Police Department to conduct a high visibility patrol on the Everett Turnpike on the evening of Friday, May 12, 2023.
Troopers involved in this saturation patrol focused on impaired and aggressive drivers. During the patrol, sixty-nine vehicles were contacted, yielding ten arrests. Five of those arrests were for DWI, one arrest was for Reckless Driving, where a Trooper stopped a vehicle traveling 108mph and two of the ten arrests involved vehicles with minors accompanying the drivers.
The 10 people arrested included 3 people from Manchester:
Anthony Smith, age 40, of Manchester, NH - Operating After Suspension
Andre Jones, age 58, of Manchester, NH - Operating After Suspension
Christopher Castillo, age 58, of Manchester, NH - Operating After Suspension
The rest of the arrests were:
Rishelle Whitcomb, age 35, of Salisbury, MA - Operating After Suspension
Feng Chen, age 51, of Quincy, MA - Driving While Intoxicated
Christopher Driscoll, age 53, of Nashua, NH - Driving While Intoxicated
Henry Henandez, age 33, of Nashua, NH - Aggravated DWI, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Open Container
Sadie Creighton, age 35, of Nashua, NH - Aggravated DWI, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Open Container
Thomas Hayes, age 39, of Nashua - Driving While Intoxicated, Speed
Matthew Gerling, age 19, of Derry, NH - Reckless Driving; speed in excess of 100mph
Troopers will continue conducting these types of enforcement efforts through the spring and summer months.
