Convicted Tier-1 Sex Offender Charged With Failure To Notify Of Address And Vehicle Changes
A convicted tier-1 sex offender who was involved in several incidents involving a violation of privacy has been arrested on two counts of duty to inform.
Travis Demers, 24 is a Registered Sex Offender having been convicted of Violation of Privacy in October 2020. In that case, Demers had been videotaping women in public restrooms.
As a Tier 1, sex offender, Demers is required to register with Manchester Police on a semi-annual basis and any changes, such as name, address, employment, schooling or other required information must be reported within 5 business days of the change.
Police recently learned that Demers had moved and also had a new vehicle, but did not report the changes within the allotted time frame.
Demers was released on PR bail and has a scheduled court hearing on July 8, 2022.
