Chilly Temps But Warm Spirits During St. Paddy's Day Parade

It may have been overcast, but Elm Street was flooded with green as groups from all over New England came to march in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Parade-watchers were treated to over an hour of music and performances. High school bands and drum corps played a variety of songs, while dancers performed both traditional Irish dancing and modern techniques.

Some of the more eclectic hits included unicyclers from Maine and the New Hampshire Wolves - a local hurling team. Hurling is a team sport of ancient Gaelic origin, according to the NH Wolves website. The Shriners even came out with their collection of mini monster trucks and semis, taking up an entire block at a time to entertain with a variety of tricks.
