Body Removed From Nutts Pond Near Popular Hiking Trail, And Recreation Fields
Manchester Police responded to Nutts Pond at 9:08 a.m. for a report of a body found in the water near a popular walking trail, and fishing spot.
Police called for assistance from Manchester Fire, NH Marine Patrol, and the NH Medical Examiners Office.
The parking lot to the baseball field, located on the Eastside of the pond was closed off to traffic. Bystanders from the Westside of the pond watched as an adult male was removed by responders from the pond.
Police called the investigation an “untimely death” and said an adult male was removed from the water. MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel said that police as for people to stay away from the area and will release more information when appropriate.
